  Terrible, would never go to this place again! The person that did my eyebrows didn't even ask what I wanted, she took most of my eyebrows and took some skin from my upper eyelid! My eyebrows look hideous, so upset!!!

  I got a 'lash lift' that was advertised as a special deal, including and eyebrow wax. I had damaged and shorter lashes due to eyelash extensions i had a few weeks before and was wanting a short fix until they grew back. I said to the lady who did my lashes that I wasn't sure if my lashes were long enough to do it, she said it was fine (since here i tired another place for a lash lift and even with my good/long lashes i didn't have long enough lashes) I also asked if there was a difference between a perm and a lift, as i didn't want them too curly up and she told me it was the same thing (which they are not i have learnt) When she was doing my lashes she said that sometimes it can sting if the stuff gets in the eyes, i started to feel a sting/ light burn close to my eyelash line she said it was nothing. When she finished i looked at my lashes and some had singed off, and the other lashes had 'lifted' but were so curled up they were stuck on my eyelid. Pretty much in a 'i don't care' attitude She said that was normal and it would settle, and i said to her that I've seen results afterwards and its not meant to look like that, its meant to look like your wearing masacra. I paid and she said come back in 2 days and get them tinted and it will settle more. My eyes stung those 2 days and they didn't settle then when i went back to get them tinted another girl said there was no way she could tint them because they were stuck to my eyelid. I told this girl that i go them done there and i wasnt happy with the result, i pretty much had no lashes at all couldn't even put mascara on them. She pretty much didn't care so i left and send an email to the company and the store to say what had happened and never got a response. Ive been to other essential beauty and never had a problem but I found the girls working here quite rude and didnt offer me any refund or care factor that they were at fault.

  Unprofessional business, did not offer to remedy or compensate for their mistake. Will not compromise/negotiate because once you leave their salon, it is no longer their problem.
  
  Stay away from this place if you're considering to pierce your ear. They gave me the wrong piercing and blamed me for it.
  
  Long story: I made a specific appointment for a rook piercing. The front desk employee did not know what a rook piercing was but confirmed what I had said and booked me in.
  
  Met the Piercer and during our interaction, the word 'rook' was exchanged numerous times. She did not mark any placements or showed in the mirror where she will be piercing, but claimed she did after the dispute.
  
  After the piercing was done, she asked if I was happy with it, I said yes even though I wasn't because being confrontational sucks (my #1 mistake). I got home and Google'd my piercing where I have learned she gave me a daith piercing.
  
  I phoned them immediately and explained the situation, asking for a partial refund ($23 of the $46) so I can get it re-done at Essential Beauty - Highpoint. Surprise, surprise. The Piercer lied and said "No. You booked for a daith piercing. I even asked you if you wanted a daith and you said yes. I don't do rooks here only daith." The word daith was never mentioned ever during my visit there, I didn't even know what a daith was until I got home.
  
  Spoke to two managers there who were adamant not to refund me. Their reasoning was because I agreed I left the store happy and that it was my fault for not being upfront in-store at the time of incident.
  "No. You can't get a refund. Our boss will not call you back either. You shouldn't have said you were happy if you weren't. It doesn't matter if its a daith or rook, you agreed to it and left the store happy."
  No matter how many times I told them this is not what I asked for, they do not care.
  
  I basically donated this salon $46 because I received nothing but wasted time and trouble. I also got the daith piercing removed at the Highpoint salon after the phone call ended.
  
  Human error happens and initially I was not upset, but the fact that they are robbing my money without compensating, not taking responsibility, and blaming me is unfair and extremely unprofessional.
